Your guests won’t believe how great these look when you tell them that you made them yourself.
It’s so simple that even kids can do it too!
Just print out the design onto cardstock paper and carefully cut around each one with scissors. Then, glue them to a toothpick to create a fun Disney cupcake topper.
Alternatively, you can stick each one directly onto a regular white cake mix frosted cupcake using buttercream icing or melted chocolate chips as glue.
And voila – you have some delicious-looking treats that everyone will be talking about long after your Hocus Pocus-themed party is over!
Hocus Pocus Cupcakes
Dress up your All Hallows Eve treats with cupcake toppers that feature your favorite three witch sisters from Disney’s Hocus Pocus- Mary, Sarah, and Winifred.
The colorful printable designs feature popular sayings from the movie like “I Put a Spell on You,” “Amuck, Amuck, Amuck,” and “I Smell Children.”
The best part is that all you have to do to mesmerize your Halloween guests is whip up some delicious Disney cupcakes, print out the cupcake toppers, and add the decoration to the top of your dessert. Another glorious cupcake!
How to Improve Boxed Cake Mixes
These Hocus Pocus cupcakes are all about making life easier on yourself. So, the easiest way to make the cupcakes is to start off with a boxed cake mix.
Now, there are several ways you can swap a few ingredients to take your boxed cake mix to the next level.
Here are a few ways to improve boxed cake mix:
Milk
Instead of adding water to your boxed cake mix (per the directions), use milk. We usually use full-fat milk because it makes the cupcakes taste more, as I made them from scratch.
Melted Butter
Most cake mixes ask you to use canola or vegetable oil. Those are pretty much flavorless.
Instead, use melted butter. It will taste WAY better!
Vanilla
If you’re making a white cake mix, add a vanilla splash. It really will enhance the flavor and give it a bakery shop taste.
Extra Egg
If you want a richer-tasting cupcake, crack an extra egg into your batter. Usually, boxed cake mixes will require 2-3 eggs. Make it 3-4. This is a super easy trick that makes a big difference.
How to Use the Hocus Pocus Cupcake Toppers
Dress Up Your Cupcakes
Take your delicious Halloween cupcakes to the next level with a polka dot cupcake liner.
Colored frosting to match the Sanderson sisters’ hair color (orange for Winnie, yellow for Sarah, and black for Mary) is also a creative way to make your cupcakes even more enchanting.
Which witch cupcake will you choose?
