I’ve been wanting to visit LEGOLAND California since before we had kids. I grew up playing with LEGOs and I was curious what a whole theme park dedicated to this revolutionary toy would be like.

So, when members of my PEPS group suggested we do a big group trip down to Southern California to experience LEGOLAND California together, I jumped at the opportunity!

We had an amazing opportunity to go on our first trip to Disneyland last week! We went with our friends (one of whom is an employee) so we were able to explore the parks for free and get amazing discounts.

Next time we might not be as lucky and I kept that in mind while writing this blog post about Disneyland with toddlers.

Why We Chose VIP Tour for Universal Studios Hollywood

My husband and I have been debating bringing the kids to Universal Studios for awhile. I’d never been and my husband had been many years ago. Since our kids are 4 years old and 1 year old, I had a feeling they might not be able to do most of the rides. So, when my Mom offered to fly up to watch the boys, my husband and I decided to live it up in Los Angeles for the weekend! And top on our list was a day at Universal Studios in Hollywood!

Best Hotels Near Disneyland

After our first trip to Disneyland with toddlers, I realized how important it is to stay near the parks. Street blocks in Anaheim are HUGE. So if a hotel claims to be 2 blocks away from Disneyland, it may take you 30 minutes to walk there. When researching hotels near Disneyland, it’s important to find hotels across the street from Disneyland park entrances. You’ll find a lot of Disneyland Good Neighbor Hotels. I think the Anaheim Fairfield Inn, is one of the best hotels near Disneyland with toddlers.
