Packing for any trip can be stressful. Add in the fact that you are pregnant and probably don’t fit into your go-to items, it can be overwhelming. And you may not feel super cute (depending on how pregnant you are) which just complicates things even more. I’ve made the mistake of packing clothes that were non-maternity and didn’t fit or maternity clothes that made me feel frumpy. Not a great way to start a vacation.

As a Mom of a toddler, my “uniform” usually consists of yoga pants and some sort of sweatshirt. We like to be out and about and he’s always on the go, so it’s important that I’m comfortably able to play with him on the floor or run around with him at the park. But, sometimes I feel a bit boring in my “uniform” and want to pop some fun back into my wardrobe. That’s where LuLaRoe fits in!

I was really hesitant to buy nursing clothes after the birth of my first son because everything I saw looked so frumpy and cumbersome. I ended up just wearing regular shirts. This meant I had to expose my tummy to nurse my son when I was out and about. Normally I’d be fine with that, but it was winter and I was cold and it made the whole nursing experience feel make-shift and I didn’t like that. When I had my second son, I knew I needed to really search for some nice nursing clothes. That’s where Bun Maternity fits in.

When I found out I was pregnant for the second time, one of the first things I did was secure my maternity photo shoot. I know that sounds totally crazy, but I had a complicated pregnancy last time and spent my whole 3rd trimester in the hospital. Taking maternity photos was my chance to really celebrate this pregnancy and our growing family.

Mambino Organics Bun in the Oven

I’m a big believer in prenatal skin care. The first time I was pregnant, I was shocked at all the changes that happened just to my skin. And with this pregnancy, I noticed that there were different changes than before. I would never consider myself a crunchy, granola mom, but I am very particular about the products I use on myself when I’m pregnant and what I will put on my child. I’ve had mixed luck with organic body products in the past and was interested in seeing what else might be out there. I stumbled across Mambino Organics and was intrigued. They are passionate about their ingredients and source raw, environmentally sustainable ingredients of the highest quality directly from family owned organic and fair trade farms.

I’m so thrilled to announce that I’m giving away a $75 PinkBlush Maternity gift card! I received this Navy Blue Mint Green Colorblock Maxi Maternity Dress just in time for my Babymoon in Victoria, BC.

PinkBlush Maternity is a great option for those who don’t want to spend a fortune on maternity-specific clothes that can only be worn for a few months and then are tossed to the side. They provide the modern mom with stylish, versatile pieces that can be worn from pregnancy, through the transition to motherhood as well as discreet nursing necklines for breastfeeding moms.

When we decided to head up to Victoria, BC for our Babymoon, I knew that this would be one of my last opportunities to look nice for awhile. Life with a toddler is full of messy buns and yoga pants, so I really wanted to take advantage of the couple of days I had toddler-free. Cute maternity clothes are hard to come by. Thankfully, PinkBlush Maternity sent me this gorgeous maternity dress to wear!

PinkBlush Maternity dress at Fairmont Empress Hotel in Victoria, BC

This dress was ideal for strolling around the iconic Fairmont Empress Hotel while feeling chic and stylish
When I touched the dress for the first time, I couldn’t believe how buttery soft it was! I was a bit hesitant to try it on because a lot of the maternity dresses I’ve tried on ended up looking frumpy and the opposite of cute. So, I was really surprised how well it fit! It even covered the massive nursing bra I was wearing (only bra that seems remotely comfy at 7 months preggers.) Major points right there!

PinkBlush Maternity at Cragdarroch Castle in Victoria, BC

This dress kept me cool yet classy while touring Craigdarroch Castle in Victoria, BC
The dress is easy to move around in and it’s the perfect weight for Spring, Summer or Fall. Since I was touring around, I ended up wearing a large sun hat for part of the day and then added a sweater in the evening. I also wore flat sandals due to all the walking. This dress was comfortable enough for a double decker bus ride, water taxi ride, touring a museum and castle, enjoying afternoon tea in a garden and eating at restaurants. Most importantly, I felt really put together!

PinkBlush Maternity cute dress

This dress was also fabulous for doing my first bump selfie!

What surprised me the most about this PinkBlush Maternity dress was the overall quality. I have always thought of maternity clothes as throwaway pieces. However, because of the cut and style, I think I will be hanging onto this dress long after I’m pregnant. It’s just a great staple maxi dress and it’s  a dress I would have grabbed regardless of pregnancy. And I think it will be a dress that always makes it into my travel bag for just about any destination.

PinkBlush Maternity sent me this dress for review purposes.
