My boys are in 3rd and 6th grade now, so we’re pretty much past the princess phase.

But when they were little? Oh my gosh, meeting princesses was THE most important part of any Disney World trip.

And honestly, little kids love meeting princesses because they’re so much less scary than the giant-headed characters.

Princesses actually talk to your kids, have real conversations, and don’t look like they might accidentally knock your toddler over with their enormous Mickey head.

The problem? Some princesses are super easy to find. Others are basically hiding from you.

I’m going to tell you exactly where to meet every Disney princess at Walt Disney World in 2026, plus share what I wish someone had told me before our first trip.

The Autograph Book Mistake I Made (Don’t Do This)

Before I get into locations, learn from my biggest mistake.

One time we completely forgot to bring an autograph book to a princess meet-and-greet. My boys were SO disappointed because princesses always sign autographs, and we had nothing for them to sign.

We tried to get them to sign a park map. It was not the same.

Just throw an autograph book in your park bag. Even if you think your kids won’t care, they will.

My Best Tips for Actually Meeting Princesses Without Losing Your Mind

Check Wait Times From Your Hotel Room

You can check character meet-and-greet wait times in the My Disney Experience app even when you’re not in the parks. Seriously.

Look at which princesses usually have insane lines, then plan to get there about 15 minutes before the character is scheduled to appear. You’ll skip a ton of waiting.

Character Dining is Expensive But Worth It

I know. Character meals cost a fortune.

But if meeting multiple princesses matters to your family, it’s the best money you’ll spend at Disney World. We’ve done both Cinderella’s Royal Table and Akershus Royal Banquet Hall.

Not having to stand in line after line in 95-degree heat while your kids melt down? Worth every penny.

Plus when they were little, my boys would give the princesses tons of compliments. “I like your hair!” “Your dress is so pretty!” The princesses would actually chat with them at the table instead of that rushed 30-second photo after waiting an hour.

As they got older they got quieter, but those early years were magical.

Where to Find Every Disney Princess (2026 Updates Included)

ANNA AND ELSA (From Frozen)

These two come as a package deal.

We met them at Royal Sommerhus in the Norway Pavilion at Epcot in 2023, and my kids still talk about it. The space is designed like their summer cabin from the movie, which is pretty cute.

The line gets long. Like, really long. Get there early or use Lightning Lane if it’s available.

Shop Anna costumes, Elsa costumes, Kristoff costumes, or Olaf costumes on Amazon.

ARIEL (From The Little Mermaid)

Ariel is everywhere, which makes her one of the easiest princesses to meet. Thank goodness, because kids love her.

Magic Kingdom: Ariel’s Grotto in Fantasyland. This is animated Ariel as a mermaid.

Hollywood Studios: Walt Disney Presents. This is the live-action Ariel from the 2023 movie. She has legs at this location.

Character Dining: You’ll see her at Cinderella’s Royal Table and Akershus Royal Banquet Hall.

Shop Ariel costumes on Amazon.

AURORA (Sleeping Beauty)

Aurora shows up in more places than you’d expect for someone who spent half her movie asleep.

Magic Kingdom: Princess Fairytale Hall. She rotates as a “visiting princess” alongside Cinderella or Tiana.

Epcot: France Pavilion.

Character Dining: Cinderella’s Royal Table and Akershus Royal Banquet Hall.

If you go during the holidays, Belle wears her Christmas outfit at the France Pavilion. It’s gorgeous and worth seeing if you’re there in November or December.

Shop Aurora costumes on Amazon.

BELLE (From Beauty and the Beast)

Belle is super popular but there aren’t that many places to actually meet her.

Magic Kingdom: Enchanted Tales with Belle. This is more than just a meet-and-greet. Kids get to help act out the story, then meet Belle at the end. It’s really cute for younger kids.

Epcot: France Pavilion.

Character Dining: Cinderella’s Royal Table and Akershus Royal Banquet Hall.

Shop Belle costumes or Beast costumes on Amazon.

CINDERELLA

Cinderella is everywhere because she’s basically the face of Magic Kingdom.

Magic Kingdom: Princess Fairytale Hall, paired with a visiting princess. Also at Cinderella’s Royal Table where she greets everyone downstairs before you go up to eat.

Character Dining: Cinderella’s Royal Table, Akershus Royal Banquet Hall, and 1900 Park Fare at Grand Floridian.

Cinderella’s Royal Table is the most expensive character meal, but you’re eating inside the actual castle. If that matters to your family, book it as early as you can because reservations disappear fast.

Shop Cinderella costumes or Prince Charming costumes on Amazon.

ELENA (From Elena of Avalor)

Elena is from the TV show but appears regularly at Princess Fairytale Hall in Magic Kingdom. She typically rotates as Cinderella’s “visiting princess.”

Shop Elena costumes on Amazon.

JASMINE (From Aladdin)

Jasmine is one of the harder princesses to find, so when you see her, get in line.

Magic Kingdom: Adventureland meet-and-greet with Aladdin.

Epcot: Morocco Pavilion.

Character Dining: Cinderella’s Royal Table and Akershus Royal Banquet Hall.

We saw her at Mickey’s Very Merry Christmas Party too, so keep your eyes open during special events.

Shop Jasmine costumes, Aladdin costumes, or Genie costumes on Amazon.

MERIDA (From Brave)

2026 Update: Merida is NOT at Fairytale Garden anymore. That spot now has Mirabel from Encanto.

You can find Merida at the Enchanted Glade Gazebo in Liberty Square at Magic Kingdom now.

She’s a rare character, so if you spot her, don’t skip it.

Shop Merida costumes on Amazon.

MIRABEL (From Encanto)

Mirabel took over Merida’s old spot at Fairytale Garden in 2023.

Magic Kingdom: Fairytale Garden. It’s on the pathway to the right of Cinderella Castle.

Character Dining: 1900 Park Fare at Grand Floridian.

Warning: Most of the Fairytale Garden line is in direct sun. Go early in the day or you’ll be melting.

MOANA

Okay, so Moana used to be almost impossible to find. My kids wanted to meet her SO badly and we could never track her down.

She still doesn’t have a regular meet-and-greet location. She occasionally appears at Hollywood Studios and during special events, but there’s no guarantee.

If you see her, it’s like spotting a unicorn. Drop everything and get in line immediately.

Shop Moana costumes on Amazon.

MULAN

We met Mulan at Epcot in 2023 and it was such a great interaction.

Epcot: China Pavilion. This is pretty much the only reliable place to find her.

Character Dining: Akershus Royal Banquet Hall.

If meeting Mulan is important to you, head straight to the China Pavilion. She doesn’t show up many other places.

Shop Mulan costumes on Amazon.

POCAHONTAS

Pocahontas is easy to find if you know where to look.

You’ll find her at the Discovery Island Trails in Animal Kingdom. She sometimes appears at race weekends too.

Shop Pocahontas costumes on Amazon.

RAPUNZEL (From Tangled)

2026 Update: The character breakfast at Trattoria al Forno closed during COVID and hasn’t come back. That was the only place to reliably meet Rapunzel with Flynn Rider, Ariel, and Prince Eric all together.

Right now you can meet Rapunzel at Princess Fairytale Hall in Magic Kingdom. She’s usually paired with Tiana.

Sometimes Flynn Rider appears with her, which is special because he’s a rare character. But it’s not guaranteed.

Shop Rapunzel costumes on Amazon.

SNOW WHITE

Snow White is the original Disney princess, so she shows up regularly.

Magic Kingdom: Princess Fairytale Hall as a visiting princess, or sometimes near Town Square Theater.

Epcot: Germany Pavilion near the wishing well.

Character Dining: Cinderella’s Royal Table, Akershus Royal Banquet Hall, and Storybook Dining at Artist Point in Wilderness Lodge.

Shop Snow White costumes on Amazon.

SOFIA (From Sofia the First)

Sofia is a Disney Junior princess, so she appears in areas for younger kids.

Hollywood Studios: Animation Courtyard.

Character Dining: Hollywood and Vine.

Shop Sofia the First costumes on Amazon.

TIANA (From The Princess and the Frog)

Tiana has become easier to meet since Tiana’s Bayou Adventure opened.

Magic Kingdom: Princess Fairytale Hall (usually paired with Rapunzel) or Liberty Square Bridge.

Character Dining: 1900 Park Fare at Grand Floridian. She wears her new Bayou Adventure explorer outfit here, which is different from her classic princess dress.

Shop Tiana costumes on Amazon.

Which Character Meal Should You Actually Book?

If your kids love princesses, character dining is the way to go. But which one?

Cinderella’s Royal Table (Magic Kingdom) is the most expensive. You’re eating inside Cinderella Castle, which is pretty cool. You meet Cinderella downstairs, then other princesses visit your table. Breakfast is $76 per adult, lunch and dinner are $89.

It’s magical, but honestly? The food is just okay for the price.

Akershus Royal Banquet Hall (Epcot) is the better value in my opinion. It’s in a Norwegian castle setting, and you’ll meet Belle, Ariel, Snow White, Cinderella, and sometimes Mulan or Aurora.

We’ve done both, and I thought the food at Akershus was better. Plus it’s cheaper. Breakfast is $69 per adult.

1900 Park Fare (Grand Floridian Resort) reopened in 2024 with all new characters. You’ll meet Aladdin in his Prince Ali outfit, Cinderella, Mirabel, and Tiana in her Bayou outfit.

The Grand Floridian Strawberry Soup is famous (and delicious). Breakfast is $58 per adult, dinner is $69.

This is probably your best value for princess character dining right now.

Storybook Dining at Artist Point (Wilderness Lodge) has Snow White and the Evil Queen. If your kids like villains mixed in with their princess experience, this is fun. The food here is actually really good quality too.

Final Thoughts

Meeting princesses doesn’t have to take over your entire Disney World trip.

Use the app to check wait times before you commit to standing in line. Consider splurging on one character meal.

Bring an autograph book (trust me on this one). Get to meet-and-greets 15 minutes before the character appears.

My boys are way past the princess phase now, but my 6th grader still talks about meeting Elsa and Anna. Those little moments where your kids light up? They stick with you way longer than you’d expect.

Have fun!
