Disneyland has some amazing places to dine. In fact, it’s hard for us to narrow a day down to just three meals.
Some places are perfect for sampling small bites and that way you can go to a lot more of these carefully planned themed environments for tasty Disneyland morsels.
When it comes to Lunch and Dinner, choices abound and there are very few places we would discourage anyone from trying out.
However, breakfast inside the parks is much harder to come by.
We get it. Most people want to rush to the nearest attraction as soon as the park opens.
However, there are a few remarkable places that serve breakfast in Disneyland and California Adventure and we have our favorites.

#11 Cappuccino Cart
For a simple Disneyland breakfast, head to the middle of Disney California Adventure Park (near the Wharf) to grab a coffee and a breakfast burrito at the Cappuccino Cart.
There’s usually a shorter line here than at Starbucks. Plus, it’s centrally located so you can send the rest of your family on a ride while you grab breakfast.
#10 Market House
This is a fancy name for the Starbucks in Disneyland Park right on Main Street. I admit, this is one of the busiest Starbucks in the area but it has everything that families want.
You can get hot or cold Starbucks beverages, a tasty breakfast sandwich, or a variety of quick breakfast items.
#9 Fiddler, Fifer & Practical Cafe
This is a fancy name for the Starbucks in Disney California Adventure Park. But, it’s one of the easiest places to get a grab-and-go quick service breakfast.
You can pick up Starbucks beverages, pastries, and artisan breakfast sandwiches. Plus they have fresh fruit and protein boxes.
#8 Galactic Grill
A consistent counter service location for a quick and balanced breakfast in Disneyland, Galactic Grill is the only place east of Main Street to grab some morning grub.
It’s a go-to place for a handheld breakfast, but you don’t have to take it on the go. There are plenty of tables covered by the overhead shelter.
In addition to a breakfast burrito or sandwich, you can have french toast sticks, breakfast bowls, fruit, or enjoy one of the seasonal offerings.
#7 Pym’s Test Kitchen
Another great place for breakfast at Disney California Adventure Park is Pym’s Test Kitchen in the Avengers Campus.
They offer eggs, bacon, and potato bites. But the runaway hit is the Ever-expanding Cinna-Pym Toast which is basically baked French toast with a fried egg and bacon. It’s amazing!
I’ll also admit, we’ve ordered their giant pretzel to share for breakfast.
#6 Red Rose Taverne
Red Rose Taverne is where it starts to get really pretty good for breakfast available inside Disneyland.
Formerly Pinocchio’s Village Haus, the newish Beauty and the Beast motif seems here to stay.
It’s currently the only place where you can order a Mickey shaped pancake. If you like more eggs and bacon with your breakfast, they have that too.
In our opinion the menu is incredibly well-rounded, offering a quinoa breakfast bowl, a gourmet breakfast sandwich, and a breakfast platter served with a petit croissant.
There is plenty of indoor and outdoor seating and both have a remarkable atmosphere.
#5 Jolly Holiday Bakery Cafe
If you decide to linger in the plaza after a stroll down Main Street, Jolly Holiday Bakery Cafe is the perfect place to stop for a small breakfast and an outdoor table with views of the castle, the Matterhorn and the Tomorrowland entrance.
This bakery offers a variety of tantalizing sweet and savory treats and serves breakfast sandwiches as well. Two of the staples here are the Matterhorn Macaron and the Cinnamon Roll.
Jolly Holiday is located near the entrance to Adventureland, so save room for a Dole Whip if you decide to go here for breakfast in Disneyland.
#4 Carnation Cafe
For the lovely street atmosphere, there is no better place in Disneyland to dine than at Carnation Cafe.
This classic Disney restaurant offers American breakfast favorites and specialties such as apple granola pancakes and Mickey Shaped Waffles.
Carnation Cafe is the only table service restaurant that is not a buffet/character meal.
You can enjoy a nice leisurely breakfast and watch the activity on Main Street USA as you plan your day in the park.
#3 Corn Dog Castle
You know how sometimes you really just want to eat breakfast as you get in line for your favorite ride?
Corn Dog Castle in Disney California Adventure Park has a really simple breakfast sausage and egg corn dog that is full of sweet and salty goodness.
#2 Lamplight Lounge
Lamplight Lounge has a great a daily brunch and it’s fantastic!
It’s among the top places to dine in Disney’s California Adventure and our pick for the second-best breakfast in either of the two Parks.
This table service restaurant is where Ariel’s Grotto used to be. It’s now transformed into a cool, Pixar-themed lounge with indoor booth seating and incredible outdoor patio seating.
Some top brunch items include crab and potato cake benedict, New York avocado toast, French toast, and chilaquiles.
The food is really good, but people usually come here for the fancy drinks and to gawk at the Pixar memorabilia.
They have boozy brunch cocktails and also a large array of non-alcoholic beverages. It’s one of our favorite Disneyland restaurants.
#1 Plaza Inn
Breakfast in the Park with Minnie and Friends is the Plaza Inn Breakfast Buffet. I highly recommend stalking the Disneyland app if you haven’t made a reservation.
It’s perfect for families with young children who want to meet the characters and don’t have a huge list of rides they “have to go on.”
It’s a standard buffet with all the breakfast staples, plus plenty of interaction with Disney favorites such as Winnie the Pooh (and Tigger, too).
The characters are not advertised and often you will get a grab bag variety with the likes of Captain Hook or Rafiki showing up among the more regular characters.
For us, that makes it even more fun and exciting when we see who comes to our table.
The Plaza Inn stands right at the edge of Main Street overlooking the castle. It’s an especially nice place for breakfast in Disneyland if you book an early reservation before the park even opens.

Not really. You can still get snacks and drinks in the morning, but they no longer serve breakfast items.
While you used to be able to find breakfast options at Oga’s Cantina and Docking Bay 7, they no longer have breakfast menu items. You’ll have to wait until 10:30 am to even get coffee in Star Wars Galaxy’s Edge.
