If you’ve ever asked my opinion on where to go on a Seattle vacation, the Seattle Waterfront is always at the top of my list. I mean, I wrote a whole post about exploring Pier 57 with kids last year!
So, it should come as no surprise that it’s also an unforgettable date night in Seattle!

What are the Seattle Amazon Spheres?
Amazon is always trying to come up with ways to make life easier and a bit more enjoyable. I mean, Amazon Prime has changed the way most of my Mom friends live!
So, it should be no surprise that they created a unique work space for their employees: the Seattle Amazon Spheres.
I saw my first Eric Carle book when I was in kindergarten. It was Brown Bear, Brown Bear, What Do You See? and our class did an art project where we each created a page in the book.
It’s my most memorable art project from elementary school and that book was definitely a favorite growing up.

Visit Kent, WA for Kid-Friendly Adventures
One of our favorite things to do on weekends here in Seattle is exploring nearby cities for a PNW getaway. This past weekend, Visit Kent WA invited my family on a press trip to discover what makes Kent such a kid-friendly place in Washington State.

Every summer, my group of mom friends creates a Summer Play Date Bucket List. We each contribute ideas of epic adventures that we’d like to do for our weekly Friday play dates. One year, we did the Link Light Rail
and it was a huge hit! This year, we decided to take the Sounder train to the International District for lunch.

Day Trip From Seattle
To me, it’s hard to beat the Seattle Waterfront on a warm summer day. It’s just comes alive! And it’s the best spot to see ferries and cruise ships. The only thing cooler than being on the Seattle Waterfront is seeing it from the water on a Seattle cruise! So for my birthday this year, I decided to take my family on a Seattle Argosy Cruise to Tillicum Excursion on Blake Island.

Not only do they house fabulous exhibits year-round suitable for kids and adults, but they also have really interesting traveling exhibits. The Pacific Science Center is a fun thing to do in Seattle with kids of all ages. It’s also the ultimate place to watch an IMAX movie.
