Looking for some ways to keep your little Disney Princess or Prince occupied during school breaks? Check out my ultimate list of Disney’s Frozen crafts, activities, and worksheets to encourage learning outside of school.

I’m overwhelmed with the positive response that I got from my recent post about my top 50 Star Wars Crafts, Activities & Worksheets that I thought I’d pull together something similar but all about Disney’s Frozen (and Frozen 2.)
Like many families, I was so thrilled that we were able to stream Frozen 2 on Disney+ much earlier than I expected. It was just the distraction we needed as we came to terms with self-isolation. I think we watched it 6 times that first weekend!
I’m going to put it out there that I think Frozen 2 was even better than the original. Not only are there powerful female characters, but it also demonstrates a really healthy romantic relationship. And it touches on Norwegian culture and colonialism.
That’s why I thought it would make a good basis for another Disney-themed curriculum for those of us doing “quarantine-schooling” this year.
We actually were in Walt Disney World in February and got to do the Frozen Ever After ride for the first time! My kids loved it and we even have watched ride videos on YouTube the past few weeks to experience it again.
While the ride videos are a fun escape from reality, they don’t provide a ton of “educational” value. So, I’ve asked my blogger friends to share their best Frozen crafts, activities, worksheets and more to help me out.
Plus, I’ve got links to my favorite Frozen workbooks and supplies you can order to get shipped directly to your house.
The Best Frozen Crafts
My kids love doing hands-on activities when we learn about something, but I don’t always cool ideas. That’s why I asked other Disney bloggers for their favorite craft ideas!
Toilet Paper Roll Olaf Craft
This Olaf craft is super easy to make and it uses something we all have: toilet paper rolls! Not only is this adorable but it’s great for imaginative play!
Frozen 2 Art Project: Watercolor Resist
This Frozen 2 art project is a fun way to introduce kids to watercolors and it has a fun surprise element! It only requires 4 items and you can change it up.
Parents of younger kids can draw the snowflakes and elements on first and just have the kids do the watercolor portion, to make it easier.
Frozen Snowflake Templates
Of course, a classic snow-themed art project is making paper snowflakes. I love these free snowflake templates that feature Anna, Elsa, and Olaf.
Older kids can make these on their own but younger kiddos will need help from an adult.
DIY Frozen Theme Glitter Jars
I love Disney crafts that also serve a purpose. My kids are really into sensory activities and these cute Frozen glitter jars make a great calm down tool for young kids to help with anxiety.
Frozen Bookmark Craft
How cute are these Anna and Elsa bookmarks? You can even use them as little stick puppets and have your kids act out some of the Frozen story!
Disney’s Frozen Anna Christmas Ornament Craft
Since we have younger kids, we’ve put all our breakable ornaments away and stick with ones that are kid-friendly. These Anna ornaments are easy to make but they look super cute!
She also has instructions for making Olaf ornaments and Elsa ornaments!
Paper Elsa Ornament Printable
This is another type of Frozen ornament that is super cute (and not breakable!) These would be cute to hang up in a child’s room, too!
Easy to Make Sparking Frozen Slime for Kids
Whether or not you love having slime in your home, you have to admit it’s a pretty cool science experiment, right? This one is really pretty and it’s easy for kids to make.
Frozen Story Stones
I love this Frozen project because it’s pretty simple to make and then you can use them over and over again as your kids act out scenes from the movie and create their own new adventures.
DIY Frozen Elsa Necklace Project for Kids
Stringing beads is a Montessori activity my kids have done since they were really little. It’s a great fine motor skill. I think this Elsa necklace craft is super cute and kids could make to give to friends.
Make Frozen Magical and Movable Charm Bracelets Featuring Elsa, Anna, Olaf and Sven
This is a super cute project for kids. They can color in the charms (which you shrink in the over) and they can also color on the Velcro wrist band. They can do almost everything on their own (except the oven part.)
Disney’s Frozen Activities
Glowing Ice Cubes
Elsa’s ice castle is pretty impressive! This is an awesome Frozen STEM activity for kids! I think it would be cool to make a bunch and have kids build their own ice castle.
How to Make the Best Crystal Snowflakes
My oldest is pretty obsessed with making crystals lately. These ones are much cuter than the ones on the string and it’s a great STEM activity that ties in Frozen!
Disney Frozen Inspired STEM Activity – Elsa’s Castle!
We’re all about the STEM activities at our house, especially when they involve food! My kids are always so impressed with Elsa’s ice castle, so of course they were stoked to try to build one themselves.
This is a fun activity to do at snack time. Kids can build while snacking on grapes and then they can eat their project (after you take a pic!)
Frozen Fractals
Shapes that are made up of little parts that look like the whole thing are called fractals. This is math concept that is featured in the Frozen movies and this is a cool Frozen activity for hands-on learning.
Printable Frozen Bingo Game
Bingo is always a family favorite with younger kids. You can use anything as a marker. This version is super cute and we like to make it a requirement that people sing “Let It Go” as soon as that space gets called!
Frozen 2 Trivia Game + Printable
I’m all about Disney trivia games! I love the rush of getting the answers right or wracking my brain trying to remember a little detail.
This is an awesome Frozen 2 trivia game that you can play straight from the post or print off a PDF to play later with your family.
Frozen Reading Log
Sometimes it can be hard to keep kids motivated to read every day. I like the idea of this reading log because kids can cross off the snowflakes for every 10 minutes they read.
You can let them earn a prize once they fill up all the snowflakes. Or maybe they get a special treat like making a Frozen recipe or getting to earn a Frozen movie night!
Disney’s Frozen Recipes
One of the things my son’s preschool teacher always encourages parents to do with younger kids is to cook with them. Not only do you get a fun treat at the end, but it helps kids learn how to measure, start learning fractions, and they can see what happens when you mix up the ingredients.
Elsa’s Frozen Cereal Treats Recipe for Kids
This is a really fun Frozen recipe to make with kids because it’s super easy to make and your kids will definitely eat them! This recipe calls for the official Frozen 2 cereal, but you can also use Lucky Charms (or the generic version) if that’s easier to find.
Disney’s Frozen Inspired Pretzel Builders
This isn’t technically a recipe, but it’s about creating snowflakes out of marshmallows and pretzel sticks. I think this would be a fun snack time activity for kids.
Disney Frozen Inspired Yogurt Popsicles
My kids will eat frozen yogurt any time of day. I usually just freeze yogurt tubes, but I think they’ll have a blast making these!
Frozen Party Family Dinner & Movie Night + Printables
I love how easy this Frozen party is to put together. Super easy menu items that kids can help with. It’s a great reward after completing Frozen worksheets/workbooks, or just to hang out for family movie night.
