After a long summer with the kids, you deserve to treat yourself to a FabFitFun box. Let me show you my FabFitFun review of the Fall box.
One of the top questions I get from Marcie in Mommyland readers is about flying with kids on an airplane. Should they bring a car seat? I’ve been traveling with my kids on airplanes for the past 4 years. Some flights I’ve used a car seat. Others I’ve primarily worn a baby in my Tula baby carrier. And on other flights, I’ve simply had a child using the lap belt on the airplane. Lately, I’ve been getting a lot of questions about the CARES Safety Harness. So, Kids Fly Safe sent me 2 harnesses to review on my latest flight to Hawaii. See what I think below: Post contains affiliate links.
A Look Back at 2017
Like many of you, I’m spending today reflecting back on 2017. At this time last year, our family was trying to balance a newborn and toddler while settling into our new home. We also were nervous for our first family trip. To say that it was a stressful time would be an understatement!
Celebrating China at Home with Wooden Toys for Toddlers
My kids are half Chinese. Because of that, I’m always on the hunt for ways to incorporate learning about China into play time. We read a lot of books about Chinese culture. My kids eat a LOT of Chinese food and my preschooler practices using his training chopsticks.
Halloween is over and that means it’s time for CHRISTMAS, um I mean THANKSGIVING! I think Thanksgiving sometimes seems like a hiccup holiday we have to get through in order for the for the real fun to start!

Do you have a hard time figuring out how to have an active role in educating your child at home?
My family loves to explore the world and I find it easy to have engaging conversations with my oldest.
However, on the days we are laying low at home, I’m tempted to rely on screen time to fill the hours. That’s where Learning Resources has helped me out.

My 3.5-year-old is now a preschooler. I don’t know how that happened. Time is flying by! I also have an 11-month-old. The boys wake up really early and need a lot of attention.
So, my mornings consist of trying to get all three of us ready to head out the door by a specific time. We’re used to having leisurely mornings, so this has been a real struggle for us.
Choosing the right travel stroller for family travel can be tough. I feel like I’m constantly combing the Internet looking for a lightweight stroller that is durable yet easy to maneuver.
I’m often traveling with just my kids and I need a stroller that I can push with one hand while hauling luggage with the other hand.
As we are in the midst of summer travel, I thought I’d share some of the baby products I pack on our summer adventures. Here is some of my favorite baby gear items for babies, toddlers and preschoolers.
Bringing a baby and a preschooler to the Disneyland Resort may sound overwhelming to some people. However it doesn’t have to be.
Thorough planning ahead of time has been the key to my family enjoying a relaxing day at the park. And knowing what to take to Disneyland.
We’ve been traveling a lot this past winter and spring. The dry air has really been bothering me lately. My skin has been so dried out and it’s lost its glow. When Cocolivo contacted me about reviewing their skin care product, I was intrigued. Cocolivo is a vegan product from Canada that combines organic coconut, olive and avocado oil.
Do your kids like stickers? They do? And all their friends like stickers, too? That sounds about right. Stickers seem to be one of the few items that have stood the test of time with children of all ages. My 3-year-old recently became a sticker enthusiast. When I found out about Pipsticks, a sticker subscription for kids, I knew I needed to try them out.
