After our first trip to Disneyland with toddlers, I realized how important it is to stay near the parks. Street blocks in Anaheim are HUGE. So if a hotel claims to be 2 blocks away from Disneyland, it may take you 30 minutes to walk there. When researching hotels near Disneyland, it’s important to find hotels across the street from Disneyland park entrances. You’ll find a lot of Disneyland Good Neighbor Hotels. I think the Anaheim Fairfield Inn, is one of the best hotels near Disneyland with toddlers.
Spring in the Pacific Northwest is absolutely beautiful! I’ve lived in the Seattle-area for my whole life, but I haven’t explored Oregon outside of Portland. When I was invited to experience a girls weekend at Cannery Pier Hotel & Spa in Astoria, OR, I jumped at the opportunity! I mean, Astoria, Oregon has so many things to do that are perfect for a girlfriend getaway.
My family loves to go up to Vancouver, BC. It’s just a 3-hour drive from Seattle and there are fun things to do and super friendly people up there. So, when I saw a deal from Travelzoo for the Executive Hotel Vintage Park, I was happy to have an excuse for our next trip.

For our first trip to the Disneyland Resort, we wanted the full Disney experience. We had a 2 year old and I was 5 months pregnant. We were lucky to travel with a Disney cast member. Since we traveled with an employee, we were able to get a great rate at Disney’s Paradise Pier Hotel on-property. They also seem to have good deals here if you are going in low season.
