When it comes to Disney heroines, there are starting to become more and more that our kids can look up to. One of our favorites is Moana.

I mean, she taught herself how to set sail, tracked down a demi-god, and insisted that he help her save her island. Her acts of bravery not only protected her island but they also set her people on a whole new path of wayfinding. Pretty cool!

While we’ve seen just about every Disney film produced, Moana consistently makes me cry and feel all the feels.

If your family loves the movie as much as I do, you’ll have fun with this DIY Moana paper doll craft. It’s the perfect thing to add to greeting cards, gift bags, or use as a little puppet!
