I know it’s been awhile since I did a Stitch Fix unboxing post here on my blog. Summer was crazy busy and I just didn’t have an opportunity to showcase some of the cool pieces I got.

So, now that school is back in session, I finally have some time to get back into the swing of things.

For this fall, I’m wanting to add in a few more fall fashion staples like sweaters and stylish jeans.

I live in the Seattle-area and it’s going to be chilly, grey, and somewhat dreary from now until July. I wish I was joking.

So, I’m all about the cozy fall fashion that will have me thinking about pumpkin spice lattes and cute rain boots!

Let’s take a peek at what was inside my October 2019 Stitch Fix box:Stitch Fix Unboxing + Try On | October 2019

So, let’s see if my stylist is on a roll with her Stitch Fix selections and whether or not this Stitch Fix box is a hit or a miss.

And don’t forget that if you sign up using my link, you’ll get $25 off your first Stitch Fix box!

See what I thought of my July 2019 Stitch Fix Box.

After the awesome success of my last Stitch Fix box where I got a pair of distressed girlfriend jeans, I was secretly hoping that I’d get another pair of jeans this month.

I forgot to include it in the note to my stylist, so I just crossed my fingers.

Distressed jeans are definitely still on trend and I don’t see that changing for awhile.

Kenova Distressed Rolled Skinny Jean from Studio Blue

Retail Price: $64.00

What I Liked about this Kenova Distressed Rolled Skinny Jean:

I’m totally in love with these lightly distressed jeans!

The color is nice wash of denim and I like that the distressing isn’t over the top. These will be perfect to wear the rest of fall and into winter.

What I Didn’t Like about this Kenova Distressed Rolled Skinny Jean:

I was a little worried that the length would be too short. You are supposed to roll them and they are already ankle length.

But, they actually reach right above my ankle boots, which is the look I’ve been trying to achieve.

As soon as I pulled out this dress, I kept envisioning it on Carrie Underwood. I saw her cowgirl boots and gorgeous blond hair in the wind and this dress fit right in.

But, I live in Seattle and as much as I’d love to wear a short flowy dress in October, it’s just too chilly here.

And I didn’t think it would look as cute with a pair of fleece leggings underneath it.

For warmer fall days, throw on this floral dress that is perfect for warm autumn days
Iris Crochet Trim Dress from Collective Concepts

Retail Price: $78.00

What I Liked about this Iris Crochet Trim Dress:

I really like the cut and the style of it. I just think it would look cuter on someone who normally does the farmhouse chic look.

It’s very girl-next-door and feminine, which is adorable.

What I Didn’t Like about this Iris Crochet Trim Dress:

It’s just not really my style. And it’s too short and thin for me to wear in a chilly, rainy place in October.

I have a confession: I might have a cardigan problem.

Like, I can’t stop buying them to layer over all my shirt. I wear them almost every day and keep buying them in different shades of grey.

Because of that, I’m now very particular about which new cardigans I add to my closet.

Fall 2019 fashion isn't complete without a cardigan sweater
Ashlyn Cardigan by Absolutely

Retail Price: $44.00

What I Liked about this Ashlyn Cardigan:

I really love the fit of this cardigan! The sleeves are long enough to hit my knuckles, which gives it that cozy look.

And the rest of the sweater hits right around my hip bone, which is perfect!

I like that the trim on the sweater is a different shade and that the entire sweater has a neutral vibe.

What I Didn’t Like about this Ashlyn Cardigan:

It was a bit too thin for me and my cold, cold bones. I could see through the sweater.

And it wasn’t as soft as I would like. Had it been softer, I would have kept it.

FINAL VERDICT: Return (but I was super close to keeping it)

This fall, I’m really getting into the neutral colors. They photograph really well, which is something I always consider now that I’m blogging full-time.

This shirt is a really beautiful shade of olive green and would pair nicely with jeans or a long skirt.

We love neutral colors for fall 2019 fashion
Romey Cold Shoulder Knit Top by Colette

Retail Price: $34.00

What I Liked about this Romey Cold Shoulder Knit Top:

I love love love the color! It would be cute with any sort of jacket or a neutral cardigan sweater (like the one in this box!)

And it was such a nice fabric. It feels soft and almost silky.

What I Didn’t Like about this Romey Cold Shoulder Knit Top:

I don’t like a cold shoulder. I should have noted that somewhere in my Stitch Fix profile because it’s always a deal breaker.

They look cute, but just on someone else.

The shirt also felt too boxy for me.

If you are a simple t-shirt and jeans kind of person, like I am, then it’s always nice to add in a fun top.

It’s the easiest way to feel semi-dressed up, even when rocking a pair of jeans.

Fall fashion is all about fall colors and this yellow blouse is perfect for autumn
Larie Crew Neck Blouse by Papermoon

Retail Price: $44.00

What I Liked about this Larie Crew Neck Blouse:

I do like the yellow color. It makes me happy.

What I Didn’t Like about this Larie Crew Neck Blouse:

I’m not a fan of how boxy and billowy this blouse is. It’s just the wrong shape for my body.

Overall, I’d say this Stitch Fix Unboxing was great!

Three out of the five pieces were definitely my style and I liked that this box introduced me to a few other looks.

These are super cute fall wardrobe pieces that would work in many climates in the United States.

I can’t wait to wear my new distressed jeans on some of our Pacific Northwest adventures we have planned this fall!

And they will be perfect for my upcoming trip to Austin, Texas!

And if you’d like to try Stitch Fix, use my affiliate link and we’ll both get $25!

My next Stitch Fix Unboxing will be in November, stay tuned and click here for my summer unboxing!
