1. Head to the Beach

You can access Seabrook Beach by a few different access paths from the town center. It’s a bit of a walk down to the massive sandy stretch of beach, but it’s worth it!

You can explore tide pools, take leisurely strolls along the water’s edge, or go razor clam digging.

It’s also a great place to enjoy the sunset over the water while you roast marshmallows over the fire pit on the beach.

For us, exploring Pacific Beach was another obvious activity during our stay in Seabrook, WA.

Searching for sand dollars, building sandcastles, and chasing seagulls are just a few options. There’s seriously so many fun things to do in Pacific Beach, WA!

2. Ice Cream at Sweet Life

Is it really a beach vacation if ice cream isn’t involved? Sweet Life resides in the middle of the downtown district. They offer ice cream made with simple, local ingredients from nearby Tacoma, WA.

I enjoyed a creme float that was delicious! They also sell an assortment of candy and other sweet treats. Out of all the Seabrook things to do, this one will definitely be a hit with your kids.

I personally tried the Swedish Fish and Sour Gummy Worms and found them to be fresh and tasty!

3. Search for Gnome Houses

We took the Gnome Trail to get to Seabrook Beach (it’s just a 15-minute walk). This is a fun, kid-friendly trail where it’s the custom for guests to build gnome houses along this path.

There is one rule: Gnomes only use building materials found locally, from both the woods and the beach. Next time we visit, we hope to contribute our own gnome house.

It’s easy to find the entrance to this trail. It’s just off Compass Street in the Mill District. Just look for the Old Cedar Stump!

There is a heated indoor community pool that’s the perfect spot for families to hang. It’s only for residents and guests, not day trippers.

You have to show a pool pass, which all guests get when they arrive at their vacation rental in Seabrook!

Crescent Indoor Swimming Pool is actually one of the only places along the Washington and Oregon coasts that offer a heated pool. And it’s open year-round.

They’re open daily from 7 AM to 3 PM, so they’re perfect for breakfast or an afternoon pick-me-up.

7. Zip Line at Seabrook Playground

After noticing the lack of play structures around Seabrook WA, we thought to ask around about a neighborhood park. They informed us of a large play area near the Farm District.

Not only did they have a zip line that held the weight of my husband, but they had lots of swings, several slides, and many places for kids to climb.

If you brought your dog, across the street, there’s a dog park (just look for the sign that says “WOOF”). And next to the playground are basketball courts.

Nearby is Horseshoe Park, the neighborhood gathering place. It features an inset stone fire pit overlooking the north pasture. And there are public restrooms directly across the street.

You’re also a short walk away from the Seabrook Community Garden. And kids can pick fresh blueberries or run through the orchards nearby.

The Farm District offers so much for families visiting Seabrook, WA!

10. Shop for Groceries

It’s always helpful when vacationing with kids to have a local place where you can grab all the essentials. Seabrook has 2 markets.
