Coleman Tailgating Collection
We love our cooler and outdoor table from the Coleman Tailgating Collection.

Are you ready for some football? At our house, we’re always ready!

Had you told me that before I met my husband, I never would have believed you. He and his family are passionate Seattle Seahawks fans. I realized that since it was such a part of my husband’s life, I should probably learn more about the game.

Thankfully, the Seahawks Women’s Association used to host a Football 101 event that not only explained the game, but introduced me to players. That’s when I realized that football is all about bringing people together.

I think tailgating with Coleman products is such a lovely way way to spend this football season.

Walmart pickup
I was pretty excited to pick up my new rolling cooler at my local Walmart store.

We attended Seahawks Training Camp last week at the Virginia Mason Athletic Center here in Renton, WA. Not only was it a well-organized family-friendly event, but I got inspired to tailgate!

There was a family in front of us who all sat in red Coleman Steel Deck Chairs and they looked so comfortable. I liked them so much that I ordered one at on my phone for in-store pick up.

I also added a Compact Outdoor Table and Xtreme 50-Quart Wheeled Cooler.

My son rolled the cooler to the table and showed me how it’d be the perfect seat for him during game time!

Something a lot of people don’t realize about Seattle is that September and October are beautiful here. Since we know we’ll have a drizzly winter, many Seattleites spend as much time outdoors as possible when we can.

Nothing bonds people together more than food.

Lucky for me, my husband is a master griller and he makes the best ribs, chicken, sliders and steak! I like to pull up a chair and hang with him on the deck as he grills mounds of food for our friends and family.

When tailgating, I always like to make sure there’s a spot just for kids!

This year, I’m planning on hosting a big neighborhood tailgating party on my street. We live in a new neighborhood and we’re all trying to get to know each other a bit better.

I think setting up our TV in our driveway and serving up tasty food is a great way to start!

Walmart has the best supplies for tailgating! Their food is great too for it.

    • marciecheung Reply

Yeah, they have a lot of options in their grocery section. We also have a pretty good produce section in our local Walmart!

  5. It is wonderful that you have such vision to host tailgating parties as a way to socialize and bring others in. The decoration looks wonderful, and it sounds like you guys will have a great time.

  6. Can’t wait for football season to be back! I predict your parties will be the talk of the block 🙂

  7. This is great!!! Love the rolling cooler! My hubby needs to read this post!!!! *nudging hubby* 🙂

The rolling cooler moves surprisingly well! Plus, you can stash stuff on top and wheel it around.

  8. We love football as well…my favorite is the weather! Love those tailgating accessories! Coleman is a great brand!

    • marciecheung Reply

Coleman stuff really lasts. We have items from my childhood that we still use!

  9. I’m not a football fan, but I always love seeing what people do for games since it is a sport that brings so many people together. Your party for your neighborhood sounds like a lot of fun!

    • marciecheung Reply

You know, I’ve realized that a lot of people who come to tailgates aren’t super into football. It’s more about the camaraderie! But, it’s a lot more fun when you start getting into the football part, too!

  10. Ummmmm…. TV in the driveway for a football party!?!?! What an awesome idea!!!!

    • marciecheung Reply

Right? I think it’s going to be a lot of fun!
