FabFitFun Review for Spring

I’m a huge fan of the KonMari organizing method. A main component of it is only keeping items that spark joy for you.

We did a major purge a year and a half ago and since then, I’ve been very picky about what I bring into my household.

So, you might be wondering how a subscription service fits into the KonMari lifestyle.

Well, I have to say, almost everything about FabFitFun sparks joy for me! I mean, even the box is brightly colored and makes me happy to look at it!

I’m all about investing in quality over quantity and making sure to carve out budget for self-care. It’s so easy for me to overbuy for my kids and then skimp when it comes to myself.

So, when I get a FabFitFun box, I know I’m getting a bunch of quality products that I wouldn’t usually buy for myself. And that’s what I love about it!

What Was Inside My FabFitFun Box

While I got to pick a few of the items, the rest were completely a surprise. So, it was like opening up a cute present filled with glamorous products!

So, this robe was completely the reason I ordered this FabFitFun box. I mean, how cute is it?

This Show Me Your Mumu Brie Robe was the first thing I saw in my FabFitFun unboxing.

I don’t currently have a robe and I thought this would be a cute weight for Spring/Summer. There’s something glamorous about lounging around in a pretty robe while getting ready for the day.

Plus, I was thinking it would be cute to wear in blog photos for skincare products or in hotel rooms while on vacation!

I’ve been using this night cream for the past week and I really love it!

This full size Korres Wild Rose Vitamin C brightening and sleeping facial cream was in my FabFitFun box.

The rose smell is divine and I’m finding myself sniffing it a lot while I’m applying it at night. And my skin looks and feels great in the morning.

While they pitch it as a “weightless souffle,” it’s a lot thicker than I expected. So, a little bit goes a long way.

This was one of the items I could customize in my FabFitFun box. I chose the measuring spoons simply for the fact that our old ones are a bit broken and very worn out.

Find out what I thought about these Giadzy copper plated measuring spoons in this FabFitFun review and unboxing.

I love the bright copper look and I’m excited to try them out. Or at least let my kids play with them.

I got the white version of this reusable water bottle. It’s a bit skinnier than other water bottles we own.

In this FabFitFun review and unboxing, find out what I thought about this S'ip by S'well water bottle.

It’s made of stainless steel and is supposed to keep hot drinks hot and cold drinks cold. I haven’t tried it out yet, but I like that it can fit in a cup holder easily.

I actually just saw this brand at Target the other day, which is a huge selling point for me! That’s usually where I get most of my stuff, so I felt right on trend that I already have one now!

What can I say? It’s a jump rope endorsed by Venus Williams.

Find out what I thought about getting this Eleven by Venus jump rope in my FabFitFun review and unboxing.

I haven’t jumped rope since I was a kid and don’t plan on doing so anytime soon. So, I’ll probably let my kids play with it.

That will be true sense of how durable it is!

OK, I’m officially obsessed with this champagne charcoal scrub!

Lately, every product seems to feature charcoal and I can’t help myself. I have charcoal toothpaste and charcoal soap, but this scrub is my new favorite charcoal product.

This Manna Kadar Champagne Charcoal Scrub may be my favorite thing in the Spring 2019 FabFitFun subscription box.

It doesn’t smell like champagne to me, but the aroma is beautifully intoxicating and I can’t get enough of it!

My skin feels so silky smooth after I use it. Perfect for scrubbing off dry skin as we head into Spring/Summer!

I have super thick and long hair. Leave in conditioner is my friend.

In my FabFitFun unboxing and review, I will tell you what I think about this Ouai haircare leave in conditioner spray.

As soon as I sprayed this Ouai leave in conditioner, I felt wealthy. It smells like a product that would be used in a fancy day spa.

And it’s much lighter than I’m used to. I put it in right before blow drying my hair and it kept my hair soft, silky, and shiny.

Right now, I don’t have bags under my eyes or much puffiness, but I’m in my mid-thirties and I know it’s only a matter of time.

This Dr. Brandt Eye Depuffing Gel was part of the Spring 2019 FabFitFun subscription box.

My friends keep saying to be proactive about it. This product is supposed to reduce the appearance of under-eye bags and dark circles.

I haven’t tested it out yet, but it definitely sounds useful.

Extras in my FabFitFun Box

So, because this is the first box I’ve purchased, I was lured in by an extra deal where I got to pick 3 additional products.

To be completely honest, I’m not sure I’ll use this for real. I’m all about the liquid lipstick that I don’t have to re-apply all day long. I mean, I’m constantly snacking and kissing my kids so it’s non-stop.

ISH Statement Reds Lip Palette that was an add on to my Spring 2019 FabFitFun box.

But, I’ve been wearing lipstick on and off since I was in 5th grade and I always like trying on new shades.

I’ll probably test this out for wearing in photos or on video where I wont’ be tempted to smudge it. The shades of red are really nice and bold!

I’m always intrigued by hair care products. I haven’t used a treatment mask before, but my hair does get super dry, especially during the winter months here in Seattle.

My Spring 2019 FabFitFun box also came with a Moroccan Gold Series treatment mask for dry and damaged hair.

It’s kind of like a deep conditioner that you use in the shower and then rinse completely out. It’s pretty thick and has a pleasant smell.

It has pure Moroccan argan oil in it. My hair does feel good after I use it.

I haven’t tried this yet, but I’m very curious about it. It’s supposed to scrub away dead skin cells and smooth the appearance of skin texture.

Dr. Brandt Microdermabrasion age defying exfoliator was an added bonus to my FabFitFun box for Spring 2019.

It has a sort of citrus smell.

I’d have to use it once or twice a week for at least a few weeks to see if there’s any noticeable difference.

I purchased this product at a discounted rate as part of a new feature they have.

Spongelle is a sponge prefilled with body wash.

I got a Spongelle in a previous FabFitFun box for an Instagram campaign I did with them and loved it so much I wanted to get another one.

It’s a body wash infused sponge that can be used in the bathtub or shower. It scrapes off dead skin and leaves my skin super soft! I love it!

It’s great that they offer deals on favorite products!

Ug I hate that I want a Fab fit fun box now! I'm over 40 and use that Dr brandt microdermabrasion stuff all the time. And the jump rope would be great to throw in a suitcase for getting cardio in when you're traveling!

Haha! I just tried the microdermabrasion yesterday and I'm hooked! My skin feels great! Good point about the jumprope! Although, I can see my boys using it in many unintended ways while traveling :)
